AxEC members recently came together for a warm and energizing evening at Carbide Ventures in Palo Alto, hosted once again by Pankaj Tibrewal (it is becoming our favorite annual tradition!).

The gathering brought members together across industries and professional backgrounds for an evening of networking, conversation, shared learning, and community-building over dinner and chatter.

The heart of the evening was connection. Members had the opportunity to meet, reconnect, and exchange ideas with professionals from different industries and areas of expertise. Conversations ranged from technology and leadership to investing opportunities, innovation, and the evolving business landscape. The evening created exactly the kind of space AxEC values deeply: thoughtful conversation, meaningful relationship-building, and the chance to learn from one another in an open and welcoming environment.

A special highlight of the evening was the introduction of AxEC's new Board members. Each new Board member had the opportunity to introduce themselves, share their goals, and speak to what they hope to bring to AxEC in the year ahead. The introductions brought a strong sense of momentum to the evening and reflected the energy, commitment, and fresh perspective the Board is bringing into AxEC's next chapter.

The group also discussed AxEC's upcoming tech event in October 2026, creating early excitement around future programming and opportunities for the community to continue learning, collaborating, and engaging around timely topics in technology, AI and leadership.
Another standout moment was a remote presentation by Anowar, who shared the AxECON Integration Report with the group. His presentation walked members through the technical foundation behind AxEC's evolving digital platform, showing how Webflow, Outsetta, Cloudflare Workers, AWS, and Stripe-enabled member workflows are being connected into a more seamless member management experience.

He also shared how Cloudflare Worker is being used as the API orchestration layer, helping connect key systems behind the scenes, including the website, authentication, CRM, billing, payments, and backend services. The work helps AxEC move toward a more automated and scalable platform for member onboarding, payment flows, CRM, and future digital engagement.

The presentation itself was created using Claude Design, which was just released - It was exciting to see both the design thinking and the automation work coming together to support AxEC's next phase of digital growth.
Of course, no AxEC gathering would be complete without great food and lively conversation. The evening was made even more enjoyable with delicious food from Zareen's in Palo Alto, which added to the vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. Between the food, wine, thoughtful conversations, and shared excitement for what is ahead, the evening felt both relaxed and deeply energizing.

Overall, the Carbide Ventures evening reflected what makes AxEC special: a community of professionals who come together not only to network, but to learn, exchange ideas, support one another, and grow together. We are grateful to Pankaj, Carbide Ventures, Anowar, the new Board members, and all AxEC members who joined and helped make the evening such a meaningful one.
We look forward to many more opportunities to connect, collaborate, and build together as a community.
